I am tracing my family roots and I need information on a Benjamin West who immigrated to the Americas in or around the year 1750. If my information is correct, I have traced him back to York, England (either the city or the Yorkshire area).

I am looking for information on the West family from Elijay, Gilmer county, GA. My family stems from there and I am attempting to trace my heritage.
