Have been looking for Martin V. Beach for ten years.
Know he was in the civil war. Enlisting twice.
Married Amanda Gross in Kirksville, Mo. (there are no records as the Court house burnt sometime in the early twenties).
Martin, according to his mustering out papers was born in Bulter Co. Oh. Yet, I can't find any history of the Beaches there.
Martin, and his new wife Amanda, move to Morgan County Illinois, settleing at Litterberry, Il. Between Jacksonville, and Virginia, Il.
Martin was born Feb 14, 1849. D.April ? 1893. Martin, Amanda, Son William, dau: Nora, and her husband Charles Filkin are buried at the Antilock cem. just east of Jacksonville, Il. Any help will be greatly appriciated.
