Hello, New to this blog area. I am a Ford from the Northeast TN area, now located in Kansas. Reasearching the Ford family line relating to Charles and Bob Ford that killed Jesse James. I donot know for sure, but suspect from my other research that there is no relation here.

However, I have hit a brick wall with trying to locate the parents of Austin FORD. Austin is the grandfather of the boys. And he susposedly came from the Fauquier County in VA where he was born in say 1790. Any information here would be appreciated.

I also have researched my TN roots back to the Anne Aurdudel county in MD to a Thomas and Elizabeth FORD. Would love to know where they came from prior to arriving in MD. Some rumors have it that they came from VA, some say England. I have no proof of either. Anyone else researching these?
