Jaxb on Family Tree Circles

Ann Letton was born to William Letton (dob 1702) in Littleham, Exmouth in 1768. Her mother was Ann Waldron (dob 1719). Ann Waldron's father was Richard Waldron (1692) and her mother Ann Roe (c1695). Richard Waldron's father was Henry Waldron, but mother unknown. So I am hoping someone knows more about Henry Waldron (dob c1663) and his wife etc.

Also want more info Ann Waldron's mother, Ann Roe as I have no info regarding her parents or siblings.

Can anyone help? I am hoping that if I can find more out about these people, particularly Ann Roe I will be able to trace the family back to one of Sir Francis Drake's sisters (or cousins).

My Great Great Aunt Sarah Jane Dixon (nee Towning) was married to a Dixon of Exmouth, but I can find no record of his christian name. All I know is that Sarah Jane Dixon was married to two Dixon brothers. One her first husband died, she married his brother. I understand these Dixon were something to do with Dixons Boatyard, and that there was a Reginald Dixon born about 1898, and then his son Peter. Sarah Jane Towning and her two husbands had no children, but I'ld like to know a little more about them if I can for my tree.

I hope so as I have spent hours looking for these people. I am new to research, but thoroughly enjoy every minute.

Also want to know a bit more about Horatio John Gay Lang who was married to Beatrice Towning, Sarah Jane's younger sister.

At some time the sisters lived at 11 Bicton Street.

My grandfather Harry Taylor was told by his Great Aunt Jane that he was descended from through Sir Francis Drake through a female line. I am trying to fill in the gap between his family and Sir Francis Drake. However, I have been unable to find out whether Drake had children and if so, who they were.

Any ideas?
