LiamCoughlan on Family Tree Circles

Thomas Coughlan was born between 1853 and 1855 in Bridesbridge, Castlelyons near Fermoy, Cork Ireland and is buried in Castlelyons Graveyard. His first wife died after giving birth to two children, one of whom was named Michael. Michael is thought to have emigrated to the USA.

Thomas Coughlan then married Mary Frances Walsh on 5th February 1887. They had 5 Children - the eldest (Patrick) and the youngest (Margaret) stayed in Ireland. The other three - John Joseph (born circa 1890), Mary (also known as Mollie born circa 1891, married Arthur Connors and died in Woodstock USA in 1968) and Thomas F. (born 1895 and died in Somerville USA in 1966) - all emigrated to the USA.

Mollie and Arthur Connors had two daughters - Peggy who married Ken White (number of offspring unknown) and Rita who married Harlan Edwards in Ipswich, USA. Rita is understood to have had 5 Children.

p.s. I am a Great Grandson of Thomas Coughlan and my father (also Liam) is still alive at the ripe old age of 93. He is a Grandson of Thomas, whose grave we both recently visted in Castlelyons
