I am looking for information on the Bruce/ Mee family line from London.
My step grandfather was Reginald Leonard Mee (B 11/6/11). He married Edith Maud Bruce in 1938. She was the daughter of Ernest James Bruce and Florence. Through the census it appears the mothers name was Florence Mina Bruce but I can find no marriage certificate in these names. The only marriage I can find was between Ernest James Bruce and Florence Beatrice Mee in1928. Is seems an odd connection that my step grandfather had the surname Mee and so did a wife of my step great grandfather! HELP! What am I doing wrong?

I am looking for any family history/information for my father in laws family.

My father in law is called Robert Terence Harris and he was born on 29 May 1937 in Helena Army Hospital, Sandgate. His father was obviously a military man and we think he was born in Devon.His name was William Harris. He married Olive Winifred Carr and they lived in several places ( including Devon, Welling, Essex )

Any information would be geat.

I am looking for some family information on my grandparents.

My nan (Doris Elizabeth Shorter)was born on 28/4/13 in Lewisham. She married William Walter Heather in Lee on 18/12/32. She had 2 children John Heather and Patricia Heather (my mum). During the war they were moved up to Wisbech where she met and married her second husband Frank George Gosling - he originally came from the Peckham area of London.

My grandfather (Frank George Gosling) was born in Peckham but I have very little other information apart from he had a brother Bert and a sister Ivy. I think his mothers name was Lillian.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
