William George BROMBY B:approx 1811 in Lincolnshire is my Gr Gr Grandafather.
He married an Ann WOODMANSEY in East Yorkshire in 1849.
My Gr Grandfather is George William BROMBY b; 1865 in East Yorkshire.
He married Ida WILSON.
My Grandfather is William George BRUMBY b:1896 in Hull East Yorkshire who married Alice Mary TOWSE and my mother is Evelyn BRUMBY b: 1932.

I have lots of information about this BROMBY /BRUMBY family but require more info on the family from Lincolnshire before 1800.

The surname seems to have changed on the census with my Gr Grandfather in 1881 as it has been miss interpreted.

Hello Lynn64. I have a passing interest in Bromby. Begins with Alfred W Bromby b:1871 in Alkborough Lincolnshire (baptised 20 Jul 1871) son of a Charles Bromby and Mary (I suspect Mary Ann Pass) Alfred W Bromby moved to Michigan USA where he married Alice Maude Scott. They had a son William Edward Bromby. Alfred separated from Alice returned to England with his young son William Edward. William married Kathleen Radley and had a daughter Jean Mary Bromby. She married a John Dennis Peace. They and at least four sons born in England moved to Australia. Jean Mary Bromby died 1999. I continue the search of the various sons. Not sure if there is any linkage of your relations to Alfred W Bromby. I really am not researching further back, simply seeking any blood relations which would imply any additional descendants of William Edward Bromby and Kathleen Radley.
