I am following in my fathers footsteps and carrying on from research, website knowledge , gradually looking after our family's genealogy . I am Allan Edmonds IQMG ( world renown Genealogist )- eldest son . Dad has chosen me to carry on several tasks with genealogy . I doubt that I will ever be as well known as dad in the Genealogy world Dad is well over 90 now , still has a magnificent Memory and a mind as sharp as a tack . He still works world wide 5 hrs a day, except Sunday He has been schooling me For over 20 years now . ( trying to make my mind think like a genealogist= get something into it . .I must admit he has had a lot of patience . Even this website , he has got me to observe for 3 months on its actions.Saying the are very harsh on a member who alters copy right or makes mistakes with their admin '. however he also says it is a great site that for free , people can ask and answer ancestral questions and should be looked after . Okay , I guess i'll be started soon , as soon as dad lets go the reins a bit more - regards Anthony1

thanks janilye, Most of Diellis research + corrections are on the Maori Edmonds side, + on connections , more up to date . On the European side our personnal family / tribal research are being put into a Private Family book, to be passed on down , has taken us right back to where we originally started out from in the great era of migration before the ice age to a small village just outside of the city Arman in Jordan. middle east. Dad as asked me to concentrate on where we were somewhere in East Africa before much of the Middle East + Asia where destroyed by over 5 years of volcanic ash , + then began the re population while he is alive so we can use his Genelogical Credentials to open / explore very rare historical records in the National Libraries + Museums in that part of the world. some of which are in civil wars today + may get destroyed .As hard as the going is I am starting to see / feel , why my father was fascinated by Genealogy

Am I silly or is lynne10 and anthony1 the same person? Maybe it's the space before the punctuation mark? Perhaps they just share the same computer at the internet cafe.
