Agnes Isabel Martin (1882-1941) was born on Chatham Islands, 1 of 11 children of Henry Hennah Martin (1856-1917), sent to NZ as a remittance man, & Annie Maria Sellwood (1858-1947), from Chatham Islands.
Agnes arrived in Taneatua with her parents and lived there the rest of her life.
She married Robert Ruddick (1875-1951) on 21 June 1910 and had 3 sons
1911 - 1990 Leonard Robert Ruddick
1913 - 1978 Gerald Maurice Ruddick
1918 - 1941 Percy Edward Ruddick (died WWII)
