Adam Reed 1824
Wanting to find, Adam Reid(Reed), born January 1824,Bavaria, Germany his family before coming to America.Ships name Argo 1852 immigration. Think I seen something about Baden-baden Germany, but not 50% sure.
Also can not find his daughter Placicus born 1859, after 1860, isn't in any census. Family lived in Tiffin, Ohio.
Dora Shepard, and her husband Lester. I found out that Shepard is spelled many different ways. Can not find anything on Dora before her daughter Dora married Flyod Mills. I only know Dora' s daughter Dora passed away in the summer of 1974. Dora was married to Lester Shepard and a son Lester was born. Pretty sure the Shepards lived in Oberlin, Ohio. Most of the Mills are buried in Rochester station cemetery.

Died Feb 13, 1900 Mount Pleasant, Schuylkill Co, PA
Buried in the Minersville Union Cemetery in Schuylkill Co. PA. Find a grave 83397799. This is the only Adam Reed that I found with the birth of 1824. Wife is Louisa sophia frantz Reed 1826-1903. Could not find the daughter Placicus born 1859. My guess is that the name was changed or it is misspelled in such a way that it could not be recognized. I did find a Dora Reed Mills Born 1900 Died 1978. buried in Summitt Cemetery Ingham Co. Michigan. find a grave memorial # 71460502
I am not sure if this is who you want but I also did find a Dora Shepard but there are over 50 of them and I did not have any dates of birth or death to go by. I think I found Lester Shepard but again I am not sure if this is who you are looking for. You can find him at find a grave # 163326829. On his Grave site it has that he was born in Budapest Capital Dist, Hungray. That may be where Adam came from, I don't know. But if you want me to try to find him in Hungary then I will try. But see if you can find more dates or places and maybe see how the daughter's name is spelled. I tried just putting in the P. and Reed as last name but what came up was not her. But I will be glad to see if Adam did come from Hungary just let me know. smith41
I finally found my paperwork on adam Joseph Reid(Reed) January 1824 Bavaria, Germany . 1852 immigrated on the ship Argo. But nothing before that. Dora I have no idea on her birth date. Her daughter Dora passed in the summer of 1974. Thank you. I'm going to update my journal.
