It's funny to be sending an e-mail to myself, since my name is Ed Aderhold, also. I live in Cookeville, TN, was born and raised in Lawrenceburg, TN my relatives are from central Alaabama and Georgia. I got hot and heavy into genealogy several years ago and then got so busy with work and making a living I just let it slide. will be happy to share what info I have with you, some of my relatives spell their name Aderholdt and there are some Rogers' in the family also. I am now retired and have more time so I can spend more screen time doing research now.

Hello Ed,
I found your posting by accident, but its always good to connect with a family member. I am a decendant of Frederick William Aderholt who was born in Uthleben Germany in 1748. my wife and I have visited Uthleben twice. We have German cousins still in the area, as they are decended from Fredericks brother who stayed in Germany
The highlight of our second visit was the renewal of our wedding vows in the church in Uthleben, This was done on November 23,2010. This was the 300th wedding anniversary of my Grandparents 9 generations back, in the same spot, and using what I hope were the same vows. We had stories about us in 3 German newspapers.
By the way in the church records in Uthleben by the record of Fredericks baptism someone has written: Gone to America.
