A further brick wall relates to Wm's middle name; I never could find details that would answer what the "B" stood for. Same with their oldest son John B Murphy first married to Hester Ann Barnes in Harford Co, MD. Most of these people migrated to the Louisville, KY area by the 1855's or so. A guess I've made is that perhaps Wm B Murphy's father was a Thomas Murphy since one of their sons carry's the name of Wm B's wife's father Isaac. As that son was named Isaac Thomas Murphy I've concluded (guessed) that just maybe they were honoring both the male parents. I just haven't been able to confirm this theory. I found that Wm B's wife, E Hyatt, came from the Delaware area, St George's Hundred. I'm now 87 & find it challenging to do much more research, but I'm still keenly interested in my greater family.
