Ancestors of George W Dewalt Devault

Looking for ancestors of George W DEWALT/DEVAULT (aka TEWALT/DEWALD), b ca 1772, who lived in Green Twp, Harrison Co, OH from the early 1800s (ca 1803); he was married to Elizabeth EMERY (HEMRY?). Several children were b in VA, and recent DNA tests suggest he came from the Frederick/Hampshire/Hardy/Loudoun Co vicinity. He MAY have come via PA, or not -- there's nothing concrete of his existence in VA except census records saying kids were b there.

He is NOT related to the TN Devaults, of the ship Chance.

I have lots of info on descendants, and am willing to share. But I'd sure like to find his ancestors!
