Let me tell you what I found. Anthony Golden & Margaret Carroll married 10 Feb. 1868. Father is Peter Golden and spouse's father is Anthony Carroll.

Anthony Golden & Anne Cassidy married March 10, 1868. Father is Michael Golding and spouse's Father is Patt Cassidy. Groom is a widowed and bride is single.

Children of Anthony and Anne Cassidy: son Patrick born 17 June 1871 - Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Ireland
James Golden - born 12 Jan 1877
Children of Anthony and Catherine Forde: Son Patrick B. 16 Feb 1874 Christening Ballycastle, Ireland.
Daughter: Maria B. 20 March 1876- b. in Mayo Ireland.
Daughter: Margaret B. 2 June 1880 Born in Mayo Ireland.

Children Of Anthony and Honor McNicholos:
Catherine-- Born 24 July 1870 Kiltimagh Mayo, Ireland
John Golden - B. 20 Aug. 1872 Kiltmagh, Mayo, Ireland
Mary Golden - B. 16 Dec. 1874 Mayo, Ireland.

I did not find out when Anthony was born but he was born in Beltra.
And I believe his father is Peter or Michael. I know It isn't much, but that is all I can find out right now. If you are needing more specific information, then Please let me know. smith41

Do you have ancestry on your computer? If not, And if you can go to a genealogy center to do your research. You will gain so much more information and plus when you are there its free to do research and there are people there who can help you. In fact, I went to the genealogy center today to do some research, and I look up Anthony Golden and I wanted to ask Do you know if he came to America say after 1865? Cause I did find that A Anthony Golden came to America and actually went to work in Pennsylvania in the coal mines But I didn't know he did. On Familysearch is where I found the information I gave you , but today on Ancestrylibrary.com is where I found he had come to America and went to work in Pennsylvania. And there was a Anthony Golden that came to New York and other places. So I would need a more specific date of birth to actual find the right one. And to top it off, I could not find the Anthony Golden that was married to the 3 ladies I told you about. So I don't know why the information was so different on those sites, cause they do work together but maybe not always. So Please let me know if you need any more help and I will try to see what I can find with a more specific date of birth. smith41

Yes I do have Ancestry and I did find an Anthony Golden who I believe is my 2nd times great grandfather who was a coal miner in Pennsylvania. However, some of the dates I found don't seem to match up with other information I have found. I can't find a specific birth date but I believe it was around 1835 and he may have come to America between 1864-1870.I have looked for passenger information on Ancestry and at the Ellis Island site but cannot find him on either site. I also just found some information that suggests that he was married to a Anna McDonald but again I can't find specific information for her either. I really appreciate your help and I am considering going to PA in the future to see if I can learn more about my family there. Thanks again. Searcher66
