My great grandmother was Olive Francis Borderick (nee Bassett). She died in 1990 in Melbourne.

my grandmother says that olive borderick was born in 1907 to alexander bassett and mary ann hankins. However there was only one william borderick in australia and so it is my great grandfather and they were married about 1926 or 1927. These bassetts though are related. She thinks that john may be a cousin or brother of alexander.
alexander bassett and mary ann are buried in kilmore catholic cemetary. And married in the catholic church at tallarook
alexander and mary ann had: robert rollond, margaret 'maggie', mabel 'may', alec, mary 'millie', william, sarah 'elsie' and olive francis 'dolly' who married william borderick.
