Beckles of Barbados
My name is Bentley Beckles and I am trying to locate and create family tree of all Beckles and relatives as far back as I can take this. Other research using the internet shows the Beckles name going all back to 1716 and possibly earlier.
At this point in time, July 2011, I am recording current living relatives and then back tracking these as I go along. It would seem from my research so far, for Barbados, the Beckles originated in the St. John/St. Andrew parishes.

I am a Beckles, I only know my family on my dad’s side to be from Trinidad but my grandmother did tell me that she thinks her dad or someone else before him was born in Barbados and came over to Trinidad which most of my close family is from.
