LAMMAS/LAMMIS- I have discovered that this name also appears as Loomis. In fact you can change everything but the first and last letters and all of the resulting names seem to be the same family. My most surprising name was LINES. I've also got Lummis, and I've seen Lommace, Lommace, Lomas, Lomax, Lemmis, Lemieux, Lenox.
I am very interested to know about the Loomis book that you mention. Please can you list the full title, the author's name, the publisher, and where I can see this book.
