Birth of Maggie Mann Found but Not Death

I was searching for the birth and death of my father's sister, MAGGIE MANN who he never knew about. She appears in the Scottish Census of 1901 as being 3months, so I assumed she was born in January of that year, but I found her birth, and she was born 20th December 1900, but not registered until January 1901. She was the daughter of JAMES JOHN MANN/MAIN and JESSIE MANN nee ANDREW. JAMES was born to ELSPET NICOL and an unknown man, although she was legally married to JOSEPH MAIN, but had not lived with him for 3 years. Here is where the name changed.
Anyone out there recognise these names?
