Charlotte Spottiswood/Spotswood and Sarah Spottiswood/Spotswood were sisters, both daughters of George Spotswood, Saddler, of Newry, Co. Down. Both families arrived in South Australia on board the Birman in 1840.

I'm doing some digging in the South Australian records today on the Blackham lines and will have a few more posts up today.
