AussieGene

Charlotte Spottiswood/Spotswood and Sarah Spottiswood/Spotswood were sisters, both daughters of George Spotswood, Saddler, of Newry, Co. Down. Both families arrived in South Australia on board the Birman in 1840.

Thank you AussieGene. I had an idea they may have been related but could not find the connection. I'm doing some digging in the South Australian records today on the Blackham lines and will have a few more posts up today. I welcome your input as it may help others researching this interesting family.
