Walter BOYS, son of Thomas Mold BOYS and Sarah Jane HALE was born in Portland, Victoria in 1858, and died on the 10 July 1942 in Prospect, South Australia, aged 83 years.

Walter's first marriage was to Elizabeth SAUNDERS in Victoria in 1882. They moved to South Australia and had two children before Elizabeth died in Goodwood on the 20 June 1886, aged 26 years. She died six days after giving birth to her second child.
