Bradshaw and Chapman

I am also looking for Bradshaws and Chapmans from Burke Co., NC. I believe the Bradshaws came into NC from Virginia by way of Watauga Co., NC. I think the Chapmans came the same way.

I am looking for information on Absolum Bradshaw (also called Ab). I am trying to find his wife's maiden name. Most of the Bradshaws were from Lower Fork in Burke Co. I would also like to find his occupation.

I have pictures of some of the Chapmans. My great grandfather was William Uslysses Grant Chapman. I am not sure if he was named for the Union General and President.

My mother was a Bradshaw. She was the daughter of Peter Bradshaw and Minnie Chapman. Peter died of pneumonia in 1937. Minnie lived to be 100 years old and died in 2000. She later remarried a Mull but that did not last long.
