Bruce is the surname and was a merchant who used to trade along the Gold Coast in West Africa, now known as Ghana, capital Accra. He was the first man to bring bicycle to the country. He married my great great grandmother and to my knowledge, had about 8 children or so. One of his sons lived till a ripe age of 100 years and died in Ghana, around the early 50's thereabout
