Burdett Hackett (My Great, Great, Grandfather) was born c.1816 and baptized on 10 November 1816 at the Collegiate Church of St Mary, St Denys and St George,Manchester.
Burdett married Harriet Stott at St Mary, Prestwich, 25 March 1840.
Harriett died in 1883 and Burdett in 1888.
I have photographs of various screens, some of them quite blurred. These include the 1871 census Burdett and Harriett with Burdett junior had moved to 6 Red Bank.
Burdett and Harriett turn up in the 1881 census at 142 LONG MILLGATE aged 64 and 65.
thank you for that info he also was my g/g/grand father,my elder brother was called Sidney Francis Burdett Hackett,so the name was carried on,I had a cousin in England that also had Burdett as a middle name,also there was a joseph burdett Tordoff in Calafornia who was related.would appreciate any family photos of descendants if you have any regards Stan
