Caldwell Family IN Dundonald Ayr Scotland

I am helping an 84 year old friend research her gr,gr grandfather's family in Scotland. We only have a newspaper article to tell us any facts. It is a 50th wedding anniversary celebration of Charles Caldwell and his wife. Says Mr and Mrs Charles Caldwell were married 02 June 1853 by Rev David Simpson, minister of the Free church at Dundonald. They have 10 children 7 boys and 3 girls. Mr Caldwell works for Glascow and Smith Western railway company. They live at 18 Fullerton Street, Glascow Scotland.
Anniversary was held at the Temperance Hall. Attending the celebration is Rev Lawrence ----orough
Their oldest son Charles and youngest son George presented the father with sovereigns and the mother a ring. The photograph in the article was original taken by Mr Sharp of Blair Street.
