Calling All Lowdens

You may now spell your name differently now, but I am keen to hear if your ancestors originated in Ayreshire, Scotland. At some time some of them must have moved south to England. I can trace mine back to Durham in the 1870s but no further. Apparently several families emigrated to USA and New Zealand.
