Can You Help ME I M Looking for Info on Greenwell William James Bill
GREENWELL, William James (aka "Bill") may have lived in the city of Los Angeles in the 1970's. I worked at a bank in downtown LA (corner of 7th & Grand). I came across some banking info. with his name. When I tried to confirm this to be who I was looking for I was told, "No!" "Wrong middle name!" I stopped and did not follow through. To my sorrow, years later, I discovered the middle name WAS correct!
Do you know if he has passed away? Is he kinfolk? We try to locate or find people who have passed away. There may be a record of him living in Los Angeles but that may be all. Do you know if he died in Los Angeles? Do you know if he moved around? or did he go to some place else? Is this your father? or Maybe grandfather? The records only go to 1940. Do you know how old this person was in 1970 or now? Maybe who he married? I am not sure that If I could locate a William James Greenwell would he be the same person you are looking for. We would need more if you have it, to locate this same person that was in Los Angeles in 1970's. My guess that maybe he has passed away but would need something to go on. smith41

Thank you for trying to help me! Yes, this is/was my birth father. I did not know him. Also, I have never met his (first/only?) son "Billy" - my half-brother.
