Catherine Elizabeth Kitty Caldwell 1895 1978 Bendigo to Christchurch

Catherine Elizabeth "Kitty" Caldwell was born in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia on 13 June 1895, 4th of 7 children of William Richard Caldwell (1867-1958) & Mary Jane Elizabeth Dobbin (1867-1903). Her mother died in Bendigo aged 36. Her father then moved to NZ with his family.

Kitty married Joseph 'Joe' Iremonger on 16 Feb 1915 in Wellington

• Joseph Irmonger was born in Blenheim, the 11th of 12 children of Jonathan David IREMONGER and Sophia Rendall (Sophia was Jonathan's 2nd wife, he had been married to Hannah Driscoll)

they had 3 children before they divorced

. died aged 7 ½ months in Paekakariki
* 1918 - 2014 Winston Joseph Somes 'Peter' Iremonger
. born in Brooklyn, Wellington. Married Lily Margaret 'Lil' Sinclair in 1942. Died 29 July 2014 in Christchurch, buried Bromley.
* 1920 - 1974 Laurie Lorraine 'Peg' Iremonger (+Turnbull)
. 1st married Jules Walter Turnbull (1902-1967)
. next married David Marlin Williamson (1913-1986 in 1946). Died 17 Sep 1974 in Auckland, buried Waikumete
NOTE Jules Walter Turnbull was the 1st of 6 children (all born NSW, all died NZ) of George William Turnbull (1874-1919) & Marion 'Cissy' Foley (1877-1963). He 1st married Mavis Jean Bush-King in 1932. He next married Laurie Lorraine Iremonger in 1942
. Mavis next married Robert Alexander Lyon in 1942
. she next married Leslie Robert Dean in 1950
