Charles Blewitt 65th Regt

This ancestor was a Captain in 65th Regiment during the Maori wars in New Zealand. He had three known children to his Maori wife prior to him returning to England and married Isabella, and posted to India where he had a second family.

Two of his children (males) from his 1st wife Ani Te Kai died as infants.
