Charles Castle of Glympton Oxfordshire
Charles Castle b 1822 in Glympton Oxfordshire married Mary Ann Smith Charles died in 1909.
They had my gran Ruth Castle.
Any help on both families would be helpful. Mary Ann was also born in Glympton

So with Ruth that is where the McIntosh's came in then.?.
Where the tree av got here is concerned Charles has 2 wives.?. & 20 children, is that right. Don't seem right to me.

Ruth Castle was born in 1863 in Glympton to Charles Castle born 1822 in Glympton Oxfordshire he Married Mary Ann Smith in 1844 in the district of Woodstock that is near Glympton.
Ruth married Peter McIntosh ( my grand farther) in Midmar Aberdeen.
The 1861 and 1871 census shows Charles and Mary living in Glympton. Some time latter Mary must have died. I don't think he had to wives.
I did see that some family Castle lived in the Swan Public House in Glympton.
