Hi
My great great grandparents were Edmond Spencer and Ann Saunders (from Devon). Anyone searching this part of the family please contact me. The Tonks are the same family

Hi Ngaire,
In the last two years or so there was living in Te Awamutu, N.Z. till recently a Gorden Tonks. He has now passed on.
Gorden was a member of the Te Awamutu Genealogy society till his death.
He was our electrocution in Kawhia around the 1960's.
Gorden had two issues,a girl and a boy named Trever Tonks,we went to the same school in Kawhia.
In the Te Awamutu phone book there are 3 family's off Tonks.
If you need the ph numbers send me a note.
Cheers
