I am a decendant of Jemima Pope and Barnabas Battersby. Do you have any information on them? Where and when born? Jemimas 1st marrige was to Joseph Wallace, they had a son Joe. I think they lived near Christchurch, I think Kaipoi. When Joseph died she then remarried to Barnabas and moved to Oamaru and had more children including my great grandmother.

I note you have an error in detailing whom Betsy Coatman married. His name was Henry PENWELL (not PENWALL) I have extensively researched the descendants of Henry PENWELL and his brother William PENWELL who remained in the UK.
