Coffin IN MA

I have been searching for sometime now for George James Coffin b 13 Feb 1761 in Boston, Ma. d 13 Sep 1852 in Royalston, Ma.
He married 1st Abigail Raymond in 1789 and whe she died 1834 and he went by the name George Coffin.
In 1835 he married Mrs Dolly Raymond and went by the name of James Coffin???
I have searched all of the records I can find and it seems as tho nobody can find his parents???
Why his he so mysterious!!

Some of the info is mixed up. Abigail d 1834 and he married Mrs Dolly in 1835.
Went by George and then James.
