looking for info on Col. Elijah Dean...died 1840-1841 Spencer, New York ? married to Mary Andrus(father Richard). 4 children....stephen (settled in Wetzel Co. W. Virginia), Elizebeth (i have no other record of her), Susan (after parents died was adopted into the Langdon family, Elmira N. Y.), John Barnes Dean (adopted into the Ralph & Charlotte Ross family). Mary is buried in the Barnes Hill cemetary in N.York...am unable to locate Elijah, or find much on him before Mary. have found a Dean Creek Rd. in Spencer....is he in a homeplace burial there?
