Cooneys and Wilders

My heritage is Cooneys (from Ireland [presumably] through London, Canada, and into Michigan) on my paternal side, and Wilders (from Iowa, and Illinois) on my maternal side.

I have a couple of total brick walls on both sides, and I'm always looking for clues!
