Crass Family from Late 1700 S

I have a verified line back to John Crass-2 b 1808 TN, died about 1894 in Myrtle MO. Tentatively his parents were John Crass-1 b1780 VA and Catherine b1790 PA. Just found out about a David Crass b 1813 whose parents are listed with the same info as John Crass-1 and I'm wondering if David and John Crass-2 are brothers. Anyone have any info re this line greatly appreciated!!!
