Daisy Ann Mariner (nee Walsh) South Australia

I have been trying to find out about my Grandmother Daisy Ann Walsh who was born in South Australia in 1886 or 1888. She married Edward Patrick Mariner. I have been able to find out about Daisy's mother's line but have not been able to find out anything about her father's line. His name was Thomas Walsh. I think he was born in 1863 but I don't know where. I also know that he drowned in the Torrens River in Adelaide in 1909. During his life he lived at Sevenhills, Port Pirie and then Unley in Adelaide. Is anyone able to shed any light on his family?

Name: Daisy Ann WALSH.
Birth date: 11 July 1886.
Place: Petersburg, South Australia.
Father: Thomas WALSH.
Mother: Sarah FREEMAN.

ScotNZ on 2020-04-14 15:52:15If you haven't already, check the Newspapers on Trove. There are several articles on the death of Thomas. One mentions he was lodging with his sister Mrs Margaret Hughes of 27 Charles St in the city.
