Davey's arrive in Jersey, Channel Islands about 1820

Journal by JerseyMo

I know that William Davy/Davey was in Jersey, Channel Islands, UK by 1821 when he and his wife Mary De France had their son Isaac William.
This is the earliest record I can find of them, although I know Isaac was not their first child, but their fourth child.
I cannot find where this William Davey came from before 1821.
His first child was born c.1813 which means William must have been born around 1790.
I have tracked all the descendants to the present day, many were shipwrights, sailors and tailoresses.
