Davis Violet May OR Known Also as May Violet

I am seeking to investigate the lineage of my grandmother mentioned above who wah married to my grandfather Harold Barry of Auckland New zealand. She was my father Herbert Howard carlyon Barry's mother.
I believe her famil left Israel in the early 1940's to migrate to NSW Australia, then on to New zealand.
