Day Family Joshua John Day 1740 1785 Lucy Ann Gibson 1739 1786 Virginia

Okay, I'm back on the horrible Day family. I do believe every one of them had "John" in their names. I am trying to find anyone who has verified that Joshua and Lucy Ann are the parents of John James Day (1760-1837) [DAR verified] who married Rebecca Daily Howe (1765-1856) from Virginia and Kentucky. I have seen it many times, but am unable to find a will, birth record, etc.

Then,..... looking for verification that the parents of Joshua John Day's parents were John Palatiah Day (1720-1760) and Mary Travis (1722-1749) of Virginia

Then...... looking for verification that Joshua John Day/Daye's parents were Thomas O. Day/Daye//Dey/Dee (1701-1752) and Mary Elizabeth Davis (1700-1750) of Virginia.

Then...... looking for verification of Thomas' parents and of course, more will come later.

It doesn't seem I am having any luck with parish records with dates or probate or wills. Find a Grave has proved to be a bit disappointing in accuracy, but entered by humans, we all make mistakes.

I am hoping Mary Travis is in the line as it leads to Myles Standishe and Ann Borland, and will allow me to get into the Pilgrim Society. Any help would be so greatly appreciated.
