You would get the name of the person who passed away, maybe the date of birth if the person knows about when this person was born, where he passed away, who is the spouse of this person, or next of kin, date of the death, who the doctor is, maybe it will tell where the person is buried and so forth. Is there a specific reason that you want to know this? Maybe I can help you? let me know here. Nsueturney60
The reason I wanted to know about death certificates was that I'd tried all avenues to try and find two baptisms, I hoped that the place of birth and date of birth might have been on them for that period but it seems unlikely.
Death certificates do sometimes show a persons' religion, but do not include dates for Baptism or Christening. On the death certificates, I have in my posession, for those dates, in Australia you have 1 Name of deceased 2 Date & place of death 3 Sex, age & occupation of deceased 4 Cause of death & length of illness 5 Medical Attendant and when last seen 6 Father's name & occupation; Mother's maiden name 7 Informant - the accuracy of every registration depends on this person! 8 Children of deceased (usually names & ages are listed, but sometimes only the number of males/females is listed) 9 Date & place of burial, and Undertaker 10 Minister, religion, and names of witnesses 11 Birthplace and length of time in NSW (if applicable) 12 Marriage place, age at marriage, and Spouse name 13 Date & place of Registration I don't know where you are from but I've seen certificates from other countries and they are all pretty much the same. How much is filled in depends on the knowledge of the informant. Sometimes if there is no family the informant is a doctor or nurse.

Here's one from Sussex 1871
Someone might be able to find the baptisms for you if you post the names, birth dates and place of the two people you are looking for.
