I have been trying to locate the parents of Henry M Porteous born in October 1851 in Canada and passed away in 1926 in Connecticut. He was married to Elizabeth Wry b. 1854 d 1925, They Emmigrated in 1880 and settled in Connecticut. they had 6 children

Henry's Father was of Scottish descent and his Mother was English based on the 1900 United States Census.
Henry is my 2nd Great Grandfather on my Mother's Father's side, his daughter Isabella married John Rockwell Harris in 1915 and they had 6 children, one of whom was my Grandfather (my Mother's father) Raymond Edwin Harris B. 1927 died 1984.
Any assistance I can get in finding Henry's parents names would be greatly appreciated
