Thanks, wizard28. My search has brought me to the conclusion that this is not Solomon Stateright Ward, but it is believed that they were related. My name is Billy Hinson. I am managing DNA results for my wife Shirley Ann Ward., daughter of Ottis Ward, son of William Pleasant Ward, son of John Elbert Ward, son of Solomon Stateright Ward who married Esther Starling in Bibb county, AL in 1840. I am trying to find the parents and grandparents of Solomon Stateright. GEDMatch shows my wife related to Charles Henderson Tingle whose great Grandmother was Eliza Ward, daughter of James Henry Ward, son of John Edward Ward, Jr. (b. 1765 Duplin, NC), son of John Edward Ward, Sr., I have not been able to make any connections to John Edward Ward, Jr. I think I have traced all his sons' descendants. In fact, one of his sons, Solomon, b. 1805, moved to Union County, Ark. So did Solomon Stateright. John Edward Ward, Jr.'s son, Solomon who moved to Union County, Ark, had a son named Solomon but he died at age 10. Some believe that Solomon Stateright Ward (b 1819) was related to the older Solomon. Thank you so much for your taking time to respond.
