No, they originally came from Ireland, went to Pennsylvania, down to Virginia and back up to Meigs County, Ohio. I think Matthew's branch may have went to Utah and settled there.

Jacob is my GGGgrandfather. I have found a candidate for his brother Samuel, but he's only a possibility. I have found nobody that is a reasonable candidate for his brother Matthew. Jacob would have only been about 8 in 1802, the only immigration date I've seen. Have no ideas about his father, whether he stayed in Ireland, came with the boys or came at another time.

Have you identified Jacob's brother Matthew?
