This is my great great grandfather. I know there was a very bad courthouse fire, said it destroyed almost ALL records. I was trying to find his parents. He lived in Northampton NC . He was a farmer. His enlistment date was 25 Feb 1862, Side served was : Confederacy state served was: NC,, Unit number was 121 121...Service record: Enlisted ,as a private on 25 Feb 1862 at the age 38, Enlisted in Company I ,12th Infantry Regiment, wounded on July 1 1862, and died from wounds on July 17 1862. He married a Nancy Moseley . She was the one that signed his papers to get his money.... Before her he was married to Elizabeth Braswell...
