edmondsallan - Hello - I wonder if I asked the question . how do you like the idea of copy and paste - exposed data availability as against doing your own research from a recommended web site ? I wonder. In one of the other journals I was said to be doing this for my " own gain " Their is no gain at this website for those who supply the journals any way from any source .So that is just hogwash -and it is also hogwash if someone thinks an older but quite experienced genealogists and been elected to office in genealogy several times might be up to or disrespect other good researches hard work especially those who run a free website ',because they may have different views . I Have made several mistakes on this site and each time I have apologised and tried to correct what was wrong . I have even wiped out the offending journal . Perhaps an apology is due from the person who got it all wrong . a truthful answer was given . Even the accuser can forget website titles if they haven't used that particular one for a couple of years . yes an apology would be nice from those who run a website .Still, I suspose it doesn't matter . A website has to have at least two main things . People to run and manage the website properly . The other is people to supply or use the data at the website . without them the site is worthless . The other requirements are all just off shoots required .I have had websites .The most valued members to a website are the ones who supply the most data . Now I have matured , I have cut down a lot of work made from having some websites . any way just chatting . haven't had my first cuppa yet
