edmondsallan - Good morning - This morning and for a session or two -we will be sorting thro a lot of old research .With " old faithfuls " assistance last night we covered a huge amount of research already in hand by me or my ancesters and on file . Seventy five percent ( 75 % )is not personal so can be brought to your attention . should you wish to use it for your own ancestral records . Each journal will be will be about a person in general , some will have all or part of their ancestry . All will have settled in NZ and assisted to make our country . Some of you will know some of it ,but possibly not all . Others will be right across NZ , some from places you may not of heard of . The one thing they all have in common is their ancestry which still survives today .and can be researched further for free . They may also give you a NZ foundation / starting block ( as most of it is 100 % proven )if you are researching that particular family. If you have a big think about it,that is very handy if you are researching , cause you have a strong starting point to come forward or to go way way back from NZ to other countries . Also my own family ancestry hand me downs and my pass me on's ,all have these proven foundation blocks every now & then , started by " Samuel " showing us a particular way for us to follow when recording information This means , if you are in trouble & get lost you can always return to this point . It you want to branch off & follow a _- Possible !!!! lead . you can just leave the safe position and chase the rainbows , and if they don't work out come back safely to a foundation block and start again . These foundation blocks are also very important for referal/ indexing or working at speed to cover the amount of imformation in a given time . It is just a matter of starting off right or setting up your system .
