edmondsallan - Good morning - This morning I thought we could run through our very early history , time frames , and where we were. I have researched and recorded ,two ( 2 ) earlier periods than this , back to the middle east . This journal might need some time to be absorbed. I hope also it will give a clearer mental picture of how the original Two ( 2 ) different " Edmonds " families started. I think in doing so I think it will assist " Edmonds" of both families , through out the world to stop mixing up / mistakes in their family ancestry . We must understand that from about 1400 BC. we were in the same tribal connections in the same area in " Europe " To assist us we need to give the two " Edmonds " families who seperated back in BC - two different Identies !!! I will call our own " Edmonds " family that arrived in Kerikeri > NZ ( Re John Samuel Edmonds " ) " the English Family " and the other " The American Family " who arrived in Christchurch .NZ - even though both started from - Great Britian originally . I will now take the time frame of " sixth ( 6th ) to eighth ( 8 th ) centuries BC . We were part of three ( 3 ) huge nomad tribes that had settled in an area Approximately 1000 kilometers Long in europe. Our tribal family name at that point & time was " Edmul "
Our main base was a village Named " Hallstat " A lakeside village in Austria . Our extended tribe were living , Hunting , farming ., fighting in an area from " Champagne-Ardene ( France ) in the west
to the upper northern Rhine , upper Danube & northern Switzerland . The village " Hallstat " was where our leaders got together , made the decisions etc . The next time frame is when our personal tribe split in two . Till we meet again - regards - edmondsallan
