edmondsallan . Good morning - what a scorcher of a day . Up in the bottle brush a tui, is squawking his head off, at a male & female Wild ducks eating the bread scraps we put out for the birds on the front lawn . About 5 metres from the road - OOOOP's !! " Thee cat " has just taken up her favourite spot , by the computer . She just now has seen the ducks & birds eating together. Just a minute readers . while talk to her .
" If you touch those ducks or birds , I'll tie a stone around your neck and tie you to the sofa !!!! " thats done it , now licking herself as if she has done nothing wrong . Arn't cats cunning .

I thought we could go further back into some of our distant related family. What date are these pages ? 1834 - No lets go back further in my find / research folder . 1820 - No . December 1814 yes siree . that will do . Hit the keys "Eddie " and away we go .

WE are distantly related to three of our very early northland settlers who made their homes in the Bay of Islands in 1814. They are as follows ; Hansens , Kings , Kendalls. At one stage all three of these families were part of the CMS & Samuel Marsden . Their is quite a lot of Historical documents , books , Monuments on these families . The " Hansens " even Donated 500 small printed books to the Bay of Island schools on their historical ancestory . In my research I failed to find any that have survived . I still think their must be some still left , hidden in a draw somewhere. My own research could cross over or be part of the documntation you may already know . I have no way of knowing that . Therefore I will put into the Journals nearly all . To many it may help to gain more knowledge of the family ancestry . To others, who may already have some knowledge on these families , it could just refresh your memories . How are we related ? all the family . the line is as follows = John Samuel edmonds ( our original ancester ) Samuel - eldest son - Arthur Milsom Edmonds ( samuel's 10th child m Ada Ellen Cross . Stephanie Cross is related to Arthur's wife Ada - , and she married a " Robert Hansen " . Once again . we show ourselves as inte-related to each other . Pakeha to the Maori side connected by Arthur Edmonds , Samuel's Brother .
OK , I'll stop their and come back shortly - regards - edmondsallan
