edmondsallan - Hello. This journal will go from back at- Dyfnwal 1126 AD to 1792 AD just the opposite way we have been putting it down . We will be going thro’ 666 years , we are walking not driving so we won’t miss anything .

β€œ Lord Sitsyllt - ap Dyfnwal - b- 1126 AD at Monmouth. Castle -Wales - -d-1181 AD- Wales ( 55 )
m 1146 AD - ( 20 )
Anne verch Gruffydd -b- 1128 AD at ancestral home of the Arnallts ( 18 ) – d- in a hunting accident

Children ( 9 ) 3 boys - 6 girls == The six ( 6 ) girls were given very wealthy dowries and married well and
lived happily ever after Of the Boys / Sons β€œ Aeddan β€œwas the oldest . and was taken in hand at an early age to learn about the family affairs he would one day inherit as the Eldest son . The other two were trouble . As they grew up they wanted to fight anything , anywhere . On a raiding party into β€œ Dorset β€œ southern England they were ambushed on the way back to their home . One was killed while trying to rescue his brother from the enemy , and the other was severely wounded and died ( 6 ) years later from those wounds.

Aeddan-ap Sitsylit Arnallt -b – 1160 AD at Monmouth castle Wales -d- ( no details available )
m - 1180 AD age ( 20 )
Jane verch Llewelyn b- 1163 Ad - ( 17 ) -d- ( no details available )
Children -13 children ( I could only find records for ( 3 ) β€œ Aeddan β€œ was the third child and inherited the Tile & Deeds
Meurig apAeddan Arnallt – b-1200 AD ( Abergavenny ) I think it was the home of his wife – d- 1268- ( age 68
Nesta Verch Cadrawd b- 1199 Wales – m- 1219 ( 20 )
Children ( 4 ) all Sons - β€œ Gwilyn β€œ the eldest .

Gwilyn ap Meurig b- 1240 – Llangattock . Monmouth . Wales ( no record of his death )
Jane Ilfor b –1241 – Wales ( Father was a money lender )
Children ( unproven data shows they had 4 children , the eldest being β€œ Arnallt β€œ

Arnallt ap Gwilyn -b- 1300 - Llys-Tal –Y-Bont – Glamorgan- Wales –d- 1340 at Glamorgan ( age 40
Jennet Fleming -b- 1301- ( research found -Kirk Michael -West coast of Isle of man although not
proven her parents came from Scotland
m-1319 – ( 18 ) she returned to the Isle of Man & died there in 1394 ( age 93 )
Children ( 3 ) Their second son became famous and was used by Royalty & nobles to quell Rebellions . He inherited the Leadership and Titles There is a connection between this family and another family relation back in 0150 / 0160 AD with a leader whose name was β€œ Cyngen of Dyfnwal β€œ I think this was the connection where they all came together . Remember the β€œ Switzerland β€œ Arnaults . I traced their journey from there to , down the Rhine River to an area on the north west coast of Denmark . From there they went , raided and settled in β€œ Northern Island on the East coast near β€œ Bangor β€œ I could not find official proof of them going to the Isle of
Man as no records were kept there in those days . It was all word of mouth handed down to certain chosen people . I am 99% sure this is where they met the other half of their original Tribe that went thro” Switzerland .

Arnallt ap ( Fychan ) Arnallt - b- 1320- Glamorgan Wales --- d- 1362 – ( 42 )
m- 1340 – ( All I could find was the date of the marriage . Her name was not given and she died at the birth of their first child β€œ Fychan β€œ He was a great leader & warrior and he never married again although there are details of other affairs he had . Many of his Battles & heroic deeds are recorded in church records and always led his men from the front himself . I have read of many battles he won . Many times he was far out numbered yet managed to win . This warrior was one hella of guy .

Arnallt ap ( Fychan ) Arnallt - b-1341 – Cardiff – Wales ( found the date of his death but unable to prove it m-Cecily ap Meurig ( a cousin of his ) no date available . They had a large family ( 12 ) in number .( 8 ) of them died from sickness. The only proven record available was on their ( 5th ) child Called β€œ Fychan β€œ also . It is written that he did not inherit the Leadership or estates.

Arnallt ap ( Fychan ) Anallt - b- 1365 – Glamorgan – Wales - d- 1416 AD 7 is buried at Glamorgan . Wales
Joan ap Madoc- b- 1370 – glamorgan –Wales -m- 1391 – ( 21 ) They had six ( 6 ) children - all documented & proven . Because of the proven information we have on this family – they become another foundation stone .
After they got married they shifted to Gloucestershire – England and their was spelt the __ English version of Arnallt __ and changed to β€œ Arnold β€œ
1392 – John Arnold was born - Gloucestershire – Eng β€˜
1394 – Reynold Arnold β€œ - Wiltshire Eng β€˜
1396 – William Arnold β€œ - Bristol – Eng’
Unable to find work in England after ( 8 ) years , they returned to their parents home in Glamorgan Wales and had ( 3 ) more children – They remained as Arnolds & not Arnallts -which infuriated their parents in Wales
1400 – Jenkin Arnold
1411 – Rodger Arnold
1414 – Thomas Arnold
From this time on in the β€œ Arnold ancestry β€œ this family of Arnolds seems to have a part in any documentation / flow chart – through to modern day records – one way of another . Once again it is agood foundation block to go forward or back from this point in time .
We have viewed ( on the net ) a copy of a β€œ Doctors Note Book β€œ It was found in his estate papers and was dated in the 1500’s . The writings in that note book were also recorded in the medical Journals held in section of a library in Wales . It was found by an β€œ American _ Arnold β€œ while in Wales searching the libraries of Glamorgan in Wales for more on his Ancestry . He put this on Record - & gave it the name of β€œ Dr Arnold β€œAll though I think this β€œ note book β€œ is genuine I was unable to prove many of its notations . I could only prove some of it . One part in Particular part was about the ( 5th ) son of of this family just mentioned –
β€œ Rodger Arnold β€œ . It said , that rodger gave up the idea of becoming a soldier / warrior and became a farm labourer all his life. His wife however had an unusual human gift of being able to lay hands on very sick people and cure them of their illnesses . The doctor had written many of them down , and accepted that her work on the sick was a β€œ Godly Gift β€œ to heal . No other explanation could be found . This woman was crossing a flooded river in a boat , going to a very sick family and her and the other people with her drowned . We need to pause here & put down what we found and recorded for our Ancestral flow chart..

1411 – Rodger Arnold – b- Llys- Tal-Bont – Glamorgan – d- 1468 ( 57 ) married
