Edna Boyter O Shields

Edna Boyter O'Shields was born Dec' 17 1930 and she died Dec' 14 2013 at the age of 82. She was the wife of the late Wiley G.S. O'Shields The family will receive friends today December 16 2013 from 6;oop.m-800;p.m at poplar springs Baptist church. Funeral Services will be Tuesday December 17' 2o13 at 11;00A.M. Poplar spring Baptist church burial will follow in church cemetery. The family will be at the home of Sandi and Michael Turner. Our hearts go out to Mark and Sandi and all her grandchildren. And great grandchildren Now we know that Edna was a kind person and loved her God. She taught sunday school which she enjoyed doing. She was the daughter of the late Ollie Lewis Boyter and Barbara Kirby Boyter. Edna studied at Duncan High School. She worked in her garden which she loved and she also loved to go fishing Edna worked for U.S. postal service as a mail carrier for 20 years. Edna Boyter O'Shields was a Christian who loved her God and her family. And she was a lifelong member of poplar Springs Baptist Church. Parent' Ollie Lewis Boyter was born 1895-1976' Jessie Kirby Boyter born 1900-1979. Wiley G.S. O'Shields was born 1928-2003 was her spouse. A very proud grandmother and great grandmother. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
